1959 Sandy Koufax 16-K Performance Ticket Stub PSA 6

During the late-1950s, Los Angeles was a new attraction in the National League and so was an overpowering southpaw named Sandy Koufax. As the Dodgers were on their way to their first-ever title on the West Coast in 1959, Koufax put his signature on a 4-1 triumph as he fanned 16 Phillies on June 22. Encapsulated and graded PSA 6, this Los Angeles Coliseum ticket stub was issued for that impressive mound performance. The clean crisp voucher features printed seating details and the Dodgers' script-style logo on the front and the facsimile signature of club president Walter O'Malley on the reverse. The strikeout total (which included four punchouts of Wally Post and two of Sparky Anderson) marked Koufax' first of eight career regular-season games with 15 or more Ks.
